I feel so honoured to have gotten to spend time with Grandpa Walter over the past 10 years. He really was everything I heard about him, and more. Kind, funny, and warm, everyone always wanted to be around him. I’ll never forget the Christmas I saw him laughing quietly in the corner and I wondered what he was up to. I looked over and noticed baby Patrick staring at Walter and winking. I like to think that a tiny bit of Grandpa Walter’s charm was passed on to Patrick that day. You will be very missed Grandpa Walter.
