Please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences. I had the pleasure of working in the office next to Greg’s for just over 9 years and had many opportunities to chat over those years. Of course, we talked about engineering and I want you to know that Greg was a very knowledgeable and respected engineer. But life isn’t just about work, and I want you to know that he talked much more about you Karen, and the children over the years than he ever did about work. His love for you all and the amount of joy and pride he had in you was remarkably evident. I will miss Greg. We don’t get the ability to determine how long we get to spend on this earth, but we do get the ability to determine how we will spend our time here. Greg’s limited time was well spent. All the best to you all during this difficult time.

He was a great Boss, Colleague and Friend to all of the members within the Street Lighting Group and at the City of Ottawa. He will be sadly missed.

My deepest condolence goes out to the whole family. Greg was a great guy to talk to about work and of course hockey in the office He loved teasing me about the my sens, So I gave him the same teasing back about his leafs. We always laughed about it because it was a joke at times about both teams at some point. . We also talked our issues about minor hockey for our kids. He definitely was a great person!! My Condolences to Pat and Earl of losing their precious child. No words can change their hurt & sorrow in their hearts. To his Wife & children.... This loss is so hard to bare. I am so,so sorry for your loss. Growing up just down that country road from our farm to your farm, we didn't know each other personally, But we all knew "FAMILY", in our small farming community by name.
I met Greg in his illness, through his Mom & Dad & Emmiline.
There was no doubt, That, this man was loved more than words could ever say.
Rest peaceful now Greg. You're pain is now behind you & your wings will take you to a greater place.

Karen,Liam and Lila mom and I send our condolences, there are no words to comfort you through this terrible time. Just know you are thought of.
One memory of your Dad I have, happened years ago but, I think it stuck with me because at the time it scared Lisa and I. Dad, Uncle Earl, Lisa and I, jumped in the car and went deer spotting. Pat was a volunteer fireman at that time and Greg grabbed his green flashing light, jumped in the truck and chased us down. Once we saw the light flashing dad quickly gave Uncle Earl the spotlight which he tried to hide and we pulled over. Lisa and I scared in the backseat but, once we heard the laugh we knew it was Greg but that was him always ready with a joke and a laugh.
Mom’s memory was when we all used to go out as kids to cut down Christmas trees and snow would mysteriously end up down the back of your neck.
Greg loved teasing his younger cousins especially Mulssa ( Melissa) and Scary Sharie ( Sharie).
Your Dad will be missed greatly by anyone who had the privilege of knowing him, hold onto your memories and cherish them.
