Sending my sincere condolences to all of Kenny's family. Kenny will be missed by anyone he met in the past, Kenny loved his family, his horses, his community, country & western music and above all "Dorothy". In my eyes, Kenny was one of the best story tellers and he loved to listen also. Kenny always acknowledged people with a BIG hello and always was heard complimenting others. It was a pleasure to have Kenny join us at Lanark Lodge! We will all miss him. Take care of each other at this difficult time.

Dorothy, Bonnie, Gerry, Barb, Kelly, and Ken’s sister Joyce:
So very sorry to hear about Ken. I send my sincere condolences. Great picture of Ken and his horses. He sure loved them. Mom would be so happy when he would bring them to Lanark Lodge to show them to the seniors. It would bring a big smile to her face. The Blair family sure loved their horses. May your wonderful memories of Ken help to ease your pain at this difficult time.

Uncle Ken was a huge presence and he filled a room with his laughter. An amazing storyteller who liked his stories almost as much as his audience did. And he usually had an audience. Friends, family and newcomers all gravitated to Ken and his ability to tell a yarn, for as long as he’d keep telling them.I had a few friends from out west who were mesmerized by him, they never forgot him and to this day ask about him.
Our thoughts are with Aunt Dot and the family, but we hope and know that the love and care that surrounded the Blair Clan will make this time easier.
Take care and hope to see you soon.
Dale, Nancy and family.

Dorothy, Bonnie, Gerry, Barb & Kelly, I send my sincere sympathy to each of you. My cousin Ken had a heart and soul as large as he was, and he spread that caring manner of his to everyone he knew. His family was certainly his 1st love, but those teams of horses were a pretty close 2nd. It was always a fun and interesting time when Ken was in the crowd. He will be sorely missed by so many. Remember all the good times, and keep his love for you close to your hearts. Cousin Shirley (code) "It is not what you gather, but what you scatter" as a good person like Ken.

We’re so very sorry to hear of Kenny’s (Poppa Blair’s) passing.
What a sweet, kind, caring man.
Some of my fondest memories are of he and his team in any one of the many parades he was in. There was always a big smile, and a wave. An excited, and proud Sara and Ryan would say,” Look, Aunt Sue! Here comes Poppa Blair!!”
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear this....he was truly one of a kind. I think back to talking to Ken in Leach's restaurant that time, me, a 17 year old horse crazy girl, asked him if he knew of anyone with a grey horse for sale, "Of course he did!!: ,,I hired Crosley Dunlop, and Ken, Crosley, and I took off in the cattle truck to get my magnificent yearling colt from Fred Campbell , manager of the Toronto Stock Yards....To me, a young girl, Ken was so appreciated,,,he drove that truck with the three of us in it, I made sandwiches, and we left at four am, got there, loaded this dream horse of mine,,,"plus a standardbred colt Ken couldn't leave behind", and headed home....There will never be another Ken Blair....RIP
