Farrell, Iona Mary (nee Wood)
Iona passed away peacefully at the West End Villa, Ottawa on Monday January 9th, 2023. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of almost 50 years, Robert Albert Farrell, her parents Robert and Lulu (Blackburn) Wood and her siblings Evelyn Wood, Earl Wood, Elaine Fournier, Arden, Lawrence, Lloyd, Eldon, Lemuel, Roy and Carl Wood. Iona will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and the Wood and Farrell families. She and Bob had a full life together. They loved entertaining, traveling and a good game of cards with family and friends. They are forever reunited for eternity. Family and friends will gather at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Friday January 13th, 2023 from 9:30 A.M. until the service in the chapel at 10:30. A reception will follow in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Iona will be laid to rest beside Bob in Elmwood Cemetery. Those wishing are asked to make memorial donations to the Ottawa Humane Society.
