Steph was a "chef". In fact, he was "our chef". While he cooked for the creative pleasure it gave him, he also cooked for our pleasure. Savoury or sweet, traditional or new world, we looked forward to his gifts. They were his way of showing he cared. We will miss them. We will miss him. My sincerest condolences to Steve’s family. My husband Neil worked on the canal with Steve and they shared a great friendship.
Steve was a great support to me with his many phone calls after Neil passed and those memories I will never forget.
I know Steve was facing his own terrible battle, but never ceased to make me laugh

I'm so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I grew up with Steve all through school, were good friends after, and hunted moose with him and Alden. I'm sure he'll be missed by all of you.
