We may not have been able to visit as often as we’d like but Shake’s stories, his caring love for the kids and his broad smile will remain with me forever. I can still see him standing at the sink washing the dishes (in various houses!) and I will never forget our trips to P.E.I. They were a highlight. He is missed.
