Obituary of Frances Jean Harper

Harper, Frances Jean 

Fran passed away peacefully in the Ottawa Heart Institute on Monday, June 12^th, 2023 at the age of 86 years with her family by her side.  She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Nellie (nee James) Camelon, and by her beloved husband for 63 years Robert “Bob” Harper. Fran was the devoted mother of Lynn Harper (late Vic Stone), Rob Harper (Jill Lynch) and Bill Harper (Donna Koekkoek) and grandmother of Taylor, Claire, Kelsey and Emily.  She will be sadly missed by her siblings; Lois (Doug) Davidson, Minnie (Joe) McKinnon and John (Mary) Camelon and her many nieces and nephews. Fran was predeceased by her sister-in-law Jean (late Jim) Wither, brothers, Carl, Bill, and Gerald, sisters Marg, Madge, Mildred and Gladys. 

Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Thursday, June 15^th, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.  Memorial service will be held in Knox Presbyterian Church, McDonalds Corners on Friday, June 16^th, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.  Interment, Highland Line Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to share a time of refreshments and memories in the church hall following the interment. Those wishing to honour Frances’ life with a memorial donation are asked to consider Knox Presbyterian Church or the Perth Hospital.
