The picture painted by her family in words and memories are certainly the Pat we knew. She was a special friend and mentor who will be greatly missed for her bubbly laugh and caring personality. I will always treasure our Thursday drives to our applique group and the great times we had.
She will be remembered always --
Bev

Where to start is the hard part as expressing how wonderful she was is not. I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing such laughter and her eyes that just glowed with love. As I’m writing I don’t think I’ve ever called her by her name not even once… I always referred and called her “the worlds sweetest mom”. I honestly can say without a doubt that she didn’t have or own or showed a mean gesture or word. Completely always smiling and grateful. You know the look on a child’s face when they are about to receive something they really want, well I guess I think of her that way. She was just excited and happy simply because she was around loved ones. Her laugh I can hear still and Kerry has many times laughed and I would say oh that’s your moms laugh. My life has been blessed having the honour to have had experienced her company. Some people cross our paths through life and it’s just that, but when you have the privilege to meet, talk and share thoughts is when you have learned and remember that person. I will always remember and I’m saddened for the knowledge that I won’t be able to see her beautiful smile or hear her laugh, but I can say I have and that’s a gift that I will forever reopen. I believe there is another life and I’m sure once again she is laughing and feeling the love she has been giving her entire life. My condolences for everyone that has lost an angel here on earth because I now know how you feel. May you be surrounded by fabric and love and everything your beautiful heart desires. Love Robin

To me, she will always be "Mrs Landry". The Landry's lived in Red Lake in the mid 80's and Kerry was the same age as me; Dani a couple years older. I lived just down the hill from the girls. We played together, walked to and from school together, did projects together....we spent a lot of time together in all facets of our life as great friends. My dad and Mr Landry became friends, going fishing together and the like. My mom and Mrs Landry would get together for the occasional coffee date.
I remember whenever Kerry and I would get the notion that we wanted to create something, Mrs Landry would be very excited, sharing her supplies with us so that we could explore our ideas. I still have some of the Christmas ornaments we made. When Kerry and I decided to go into an air band in Grade 9, I remember Mrs Landry delightfully watching us rehearse. She always made sure we were well fed, watered and supported in whatever we did. It felt so nice to be nurtured. I am grateful for those moments.
I am thinking of you all during this time, daily, and give you all my love. Rest in peace, Mrs. Landry.

Pat never walked into a room, she bounced in. She was always so glad to be with her applique gang or a retreat gang..
She made everyone feel special.
When Pat was in the room there was always laughter. Often we couldn't remember what we were laughing about!
To Pat's family...she loved you all beyond measure.
Thinking of you.

What an absolutely wonderful obituary for a beautiful person. Pat was one of the warmest, funniest and most caring people I've ever known, and will be sorely missed by her family and friends, one of which I feel honoured to be. She will live on in our hearts and memories.

Sending you all a big hug ! Hugs were her thing ❤️
We miss her so much , it just so hard to accept that we will never hear her laugh again or break into hilarious laughter from something she said or did . She was a very special lady and there is no one like her. When I was so sick and doing chemo she would always say , this is not right because you’re the baby of the group. She put the binding on one of my very big quilts because she knew that I couldn’t do the stairs to my sewing room and she pieced the quilt that our group made for me to have while I was going through chemo.
Words cannot express how very , very much she will be missed and how much she was loved ❤️
