Words cannot express my deep sorrow for the family on the loss of Jean. She was a generous and gracious member of the community of Watson's Corners for so many years and a loved and respected friend and neighbour on the 6th line of Dalhousie. I have so many memories of Jean with Elwyn and her boys on the farm, of her music at our house parties and in her church, and of her many hours working with the snowmobile clubs, and playing bingo at Sylvania Lodge. I always enjoyed exchanging Christmas cards over the years and more recently our telephone chats to touch base and catch up on family news. I follow her recipe when I make spaghetti sauce and she still owed me a copy of her recipe for chili sauce.
