It is with great sadness we announce the peacefull passing of Jean Doris McOuatt in the Perth hospital on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 with her family by her side, at the age of 87 years. She is reunited with her husband of 46 years Elwyn McOuatt and her parents Doris and Lawrence Graham. Jean was the loving mother of Keith, Lee, Bruce (Angela) and Neale (Sharron) and cherished grandmother of Amber and Avery and great grandmother of Silas.
Jean was the step-grandma to Randal Greer, Trisha McInnes, Brooke Dobbie, Will Greer, Aaron and Laryssa Eliopoulos and step-great grandma to River, Canaan, Sharley, Brady, Sofia, Payton, Corbin and Quinne.
Jean will be sadly missed by her sister Velma (Lindsay) McDougall and brother Laurie (Irene) Graham all her nieces, nephews and friends.
Jean was a stay at home Mom when her boys were young, who worked with her husband on the family farm and sawmill. She then worked at Franks Texaco in Perth until she retired. Jean volunteered as treasurer of the Snow Road and Robertson Lake Snowmobile Clubs for over 30 years. She loved knitting, crocheting, bingo and playing cards.
In remembrance of Jean, contributions to St. Andrews Cemetery, Watson’s Corners, Ontario.
The funeral service will be held privately for the family. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors.
