Our profound sympathies to Jane, Kent and Jay on the loss of your father, Howard. Joanne and I have good memories of your beloved mother Jacqueline and Howard as our neighbours in Burritts Rapids. Howard lived a rich and varied life with his many interests and enjoyed the unconditional love of his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He left a positive and enduring impression on all that knew him. A life very well lived. Rest in peace, Howard.

Sincere sympathies to Kent, Jay & Jane & their families. Howard, Jackie & I went to high school together in Niagara Falls. Although after school we never lived in the same location we always kept in touch. My late husband (Murray) and I considered Howard & Jackie to be among our dearest friends. We were so sad to hear of Howard's passing. We shared many fond memories of both Howard and Jackie and family with our family over the years. Robin worked closely with Howard in getting the Smiths Falls Squash Club built and up and running. He was, indeed, an invaluable member of the team. The successful completion of the project could not have happened without Howard's knowledge and skills. His perpetual smile and positive attitude were his trademarks, traits he never lost. His sense of humour was a true asset. He will certainly be missed by many, many people. It was an honour for us to have known him, and to have had the privilege of working with him. Howard was a good big brother and he always lived life to the fullest. One of my fondest memories was when I escorted he and Jackie on a tour of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton where I was a volunteer for many years. He was very impressed with the work they are doing there, and we are making our donation in Howard's memory to the museum. To Jane, Kent and Jay: Because of my recent stroke, you know we are not able to travel, but we will be with you in spirit. Love and prayers from Norman, Joanne and Douglas.

Fond memories dating back to Otter Lake and CTC in Smiths Falls going back 40 or more years. Years later was always greeted with a smile of recognition at the SF Golf and country club on thursday nights with the large crew there. A class act with wonderful family ties and a respected boss wherever he chose to call home. Will be fondly remembered.
