Ross was a tremendous human being. I work at Rotating Rug Rental and we would always enjoy chats whenever Ross was walking his Dog. Truly will cherish those talks. My deepest condolences go to Ross's family and friends. May he truly spread his wings and fly high in heaven

So sorry to hear of Ross's passing. He’s in the presence of his Saviour right now. May each one of you be comforted with that thought and that you will see him again when the Lord comes for us all. Perhaps today! I am so happy to have seen you recently at the eye doctor’s office. It’s been a long time since your girls were in grade school.
May you all feel the nearness of the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our trials.

Dear Eileen and family,
Please know you are in my heartfelt prayers. I want you to know that the times I visited you with Wendy were enjoyable and memorable times. Ross made a delicious omelette for us to complement the salad you made. The next visit he made fresh banana bread as we girls chatted over coffee. What a gentleman who had such a welcoming gift of hospitality. My heart is blessed to have met you both this side of heaven.
Sincere condolences,
Rolinda Corrigan ♥️

Aunt Eileen, Julie, Melanie, Nicole, Gloria and extended family. You already know how I feel about Uncle Ross’s passing and have been praying for you guys during this time of sorrow. It is also a celebration of a life well lived. Miss all of you. In regards to memories, I have enjoyed the few times we spent seeing you folk in Smith Falls area. I also remember, even before Julie was born, how the two (Uncle Ross and Aunt Eileen) came for visits when Heather and I were kids - going tobogganing down the hills (I think both Heather and I felt like we were flying as we had the laps of our parents and our uncle and aunt to land on)! And I do remember that random stop over of Uncle Roy with you folks as he was picking up his biplane from Toronto after it’s repairs - flying back to PEI (like Snoopy in his Red Barron)! And I know I can speak for mom, Heather and myself, how we enjoyed sharing that one Christmas with you guys - how ALL of the grandchildren had to wait until you said “Go!” for them to unwrap their Christmas gifts (lots of smiles and fun)! The Lord bless you folk. Love, your niece and cousin, Nancy

Dear Eileen, Julie, Melanie, Nicole, Gloria and families.
We are so sorry we couldn’t attend the services and we were all so saddened to hear of Uncle Ross’s passing, Mom, Sherri & I have such fond and precious memories of the time we have had with him. His smile was infectious and felt like a hug to see it… and his real hugs were even better. You couldn’t help but smile when you were around him and he always made everyone around him feel so special. My Dad, Roy, just thought the sun and moon set on him… loved him so much as did we. He was always so happy to find out Ross and Eileen are coming to the Island! When the two of them were off talking there was never a lack of laughter, and you just knew they were reminiscing about some mischief they had gotten into in their youth. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all at this very sad time and we send our love and hugs to you all and to the heavens above. Love Jean, Sherri, Cheryl and families xox

Dear Eileen, Julie, Melanie, Nicole, Gloria and family,
Our hearts ache for you having to bear such an incredible loss. We could always count on being greeted with a warm smile, a huge hug and that twinkle in his eye. He loved you all so very much…family was everything to Ross! He will be remembered for being such a kindhearted, generous man who served the Lord wholeheartedly. Without question, another faithful soldier has gone home to be with his Lord and Saviour, receiving his just reward. As a family you were incredibly blessed to have had this ‘gentle giant’ in your lives for so many years, but with that closeness comes a deeper sense of loss. May his legacy live on in each of you and may the Lord be with you during this season of grieving, tenderly comforting you with His care and compassion. Cherished memories are the gifts our hearts receive to remind us of those we love and hold close.
With our love and prayers,
Roger and donna ox

My prayers and thoughts are with each of you as you go through this major adjustment. Ross was not only a gentleman, but a gentle man. I enjoyed sitting beside him at our get togethers with friends. Oh the jokes and horseplay that went on between us kept the laughter going. Till we meet again Ross!
