I noticed that Elexis referred to Riley as "Shorty" and the day after I noticed this a young girl in Brockville had a Hoodie on in front of me with extra large words "Shorty". Heather, Kirk, Lois, Lovina, A.J., Ross and Addie, our condolences, love and comfort to you all. I will always remember swimming lessons and Riley always more focused on when he could head to the farm to go help and all the tractor talk. Also it almost didn't matter what he was doing at lessons, when he heard a tractor/truck he had to look and watch them pass. He usually could tell you whose it was, sometimes all he needed was the sound before he saw it. Riley you truly left a positive impact on so many.

My heart aches to hear of Riley’s passing. It’s hard to believe that such a vibrant, gentle giant was taken from this world so soon. His contagious smile and kind heart will be forever missed. I'm one of Rileys classmates and we graduated together. I didn't know him as well as most of the boys in our class did, but even the smallest interactions i will hold the closest. I will always keep the memories I have of him helping me out with getting things on the shelfs I couldn't reach and the times he would make jokes in class and get us all cracking up with laughter even if it wasn't the best timing. Kirk and Heather, I was heartbroken when I received the news of Riley’s passing. I didn’t know Riley but I know he was a loving son, brother to 5, grandson to Stan and Connie, and dear nephew to Robb and Tracy and very close cousin to their family. I can’t even imagine what your family is going through to lose such a fun loving happy boy whose is just starting another stage of his life.
