Obituary of Dennis F. Dwyer

Beloved husband and brother (predeceased by Sue and Colleen); father of Willa, Everett (Tammy), and Erica (Tom); grandfather of Hayley, Hayden, Jessie, and Robin; uncle; and friend to many, died peacefully at his residence in Perth, Ontario over the Thanksgiving weekend. 

Dennis lived a life full of change – careers, lifestyles, hometowns – and always valued a good conversation, drink, political debate, outing on the water, or solution to a difficult problem. His family would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to his friends in Perth and the incredible staff at both Lanark Lifestyles and Carolina Retirement Suites for their help, support, care, and humour in his last years. 

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 4 at 13:00 in Bethel United Church, 1500 Rideau Ferry Road in Perth, Ontario. A private interment will be held in West Brome, Quebec at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation, RMR Foundation, or Friends of Massey-Vanier Vikings are appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
