My condolences to Jack's family. I worked as a server at Carolina Retirement Residence while he lived there. I enjoyed serving him breakfast and lunch when I worked there.

John will be greatly missed by all the staff at Michael’s Table. He was a regular customer who always enjoyed a Perth Amber and Garlic Shrimp! He was always very kind and chatty to the staff and we will miss his visits.

Jack was vice principal at Woodroffe Elem school when I returned to teaching after maternity leave in 1966 He taught music in my Grade 6 classroom in which a garter snake spent the school year. The snake was often out of the terrarium sunning on the window sill we both shared a fear of snakes but love of dogs Before he came into the classroom he would call &ask-is the snake in the terrarium ? He wouldnt, enter unless it was. I have great memories of my time with Jack at school &also of time spent with him& his beloved Anne A wonderful human being has let us

Dear Sue, John, Steve and Families: My deepest condolences. Jack and I were the last of our generation of our Donaldson family and I miss him already. As first cousins, it was great that we grew up together; Jack and Kemp at 23 Clarey Avenue, my family his uncle Charley at 19 Clarey and our Grandmother Donaldson and our other two uncles Jim and Andy at 20 Carey. We were a close knit family. I enjoyed our last lunch together in Perth at Jack's favourit restaurant. We had a wonderful time chatting about old memories. A memory I will keep to the end. Dear Sue, John and Steve: My sincere sympathy to you all and your families. Jack was, indeed, a wonderful man and a great friend. I loved him dearly and have many, many fond memories of our times together . As you know, we celebrated birthdays together, visited often and John and I considered he and Anne our greatest friends.
