Margo died suddenly at her home in Perth on Wednesday December 13th, 2023.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, friend, writer and patroness of stray cats.

She was the daughter of the late Betty (Chivers) and Guy Moffatt; devoted wife of the Reverend Canon D.A.P. Smith; loving mother of Mary (Philip) Conliffe of Toronto and Major (Retired) Jeremy (Jennifer) Smith of Ottawa and proud grandmother of Gregory Conliffe, Lila and Natalie Smith.  Margo is survived by her sister Kay Biggs, brother David Everest and was predeceased by brother Robert Moffatt.  She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

The funeral of Margo will be held on Tuesday December 19th, 2023 at 11:00 AM in St. James Anglican Church, Perth followed by a reception in the church hall.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. James Anglican Church, Perth or the Auxiliary of the Perth hospital would be welcome.
