I have known Lyla for many years and enjoyed it when she had the Tea Room on Beckwith Street. We had chats on facebook and she always offered good advice. How do you say goodbye to such a wonderful woman who had so much zest for life? Her family and friends are her biggest blessings, she talked about them with so much pride and love - her whole world. I was so sad to hear the news of Lyla's passing. Every morning I would see her positive, loving posts on my Facebook page. She always gave me such good advice when it came to my baking or just words of encouragement to keep going when I wanted to give up. Not only was she a beautiful woman inside and out, her love, devotion and compassion was for everyone. She was a ray of sunshine, the light of the moon, beautiful as a rose.
