My Dad did so many things for our family. He got up every day and went to work to provide for us. Every penny earned was used to support our family. He loved and supported us and we came first. Many special times we shared as a family. His face lit up on Christmas mornings as he couldn't wait to see Mom and us kids open our gifts and to see how happy and excited we were. There were so many happy memories. I remember being sick when I was quite young and Dad gently rubbed my head to try to make me feel better. He taught me many things including riding a bike and he was patient when I asked him if I could go through life without having to learn to ride one because I was so afraid of falling. I found an injured pigeon once and he helped to mend it and he also built a beautiful bird house and placed it on a post high off the ground so nothing could get to it and put it by the driveway so we could see it everyday. My Dad was smart and I loved engaging in conversations with him. I am so proud of him for all his accomplishments. Leaving his home in Newfoundland at age 19 to join the RCAF to gain an education and start his life as a young adult. I'm so happy he met my Mom and found true love. I'm so happy he made many friends and did simple things that made him happy like seeing the Smiths Falls junior Bears on Friday nights with his friends John Gemmell and Bob Klatt. And he loved bowling and golf and going to Costco on Fridays with John Gemmell. I wish I could have held you Dad at the end to comfort you..I'm going to miss you but I'll keep talking to you in my prayers until I can see you again. Rest in peace my dear sweet Dad. Love, Wendy

Condolences to Jane, her mom, sister Wendy and brothers Brent and John.
My memories, that I will always keep close to my heart, were from the years that I worked at RTO with Jane, where he’d come in and have wonderful visits with me. I enjoyed visitations to the family home with Jane to see her parents too . Mr. Hann was a wonderful person, he made me feel comfortable all the time, I really enjoyed his sense of humour, his heart and most of all his hugs. You will be missed :(
RIP Mr. Hann
