Blanchard, Ruth Peacefully, surrounded by her children, in hospital in Perth on Monday, July 2nd, 2012 Ruth (Acheson) Blanchard in her 85th year. Ruth was predeceased on May 31st, 2012 by her beloved husband Glenn Blanchard; loved and respected mother of Maureen (Steven) Taylor, Gregory (Rose) Blanchard and Sheila (Regan) Lee. Cherished grandmother of Patrick Taylor, Courtney Taylor (Scott Mulligan), Stephanie Taylor (Kyle Pedersen), Rebecca and Jonathan Blanchard and Eliza and Olivia Lee. Ruth will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Vera Black and Margaret Blanchard. Ruth will be fondly remembered by all her family and many good friends; she was predeceased by her sister Dorothea Kennedy, brother Wallace Acheson and her parents Agnes and Hugh Acheson. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Paul's United Church, Perth on Thursday at 1:00 P.M. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to St. Paul's United Church or the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
